Legislation
With new legislation and regulatory requirements effecting businesses annually, our customers are having to find new methods of which to reduce energy consumption or face possible fines.
With HVAC systems consuming up to 60% of total energy usage in commercial environments, it is vital that organisations maintain and install the most suitable HVAC systems should they wish to tackle pending legislation.
ID HVAC are working with their clients to plan meet energy legislation through their HVAC operations. Such legislation includes:
2008: Climate Change Act
The UK created a legally binding target to:
Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 34% below 1990 levels by 2020
Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% below 1990 levels by 2050
2010: Carbon Reduction Commitment
This is now called the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and is for larger businesses and organisations to reduce energy consumption. Businesses using over 6000Mwh of electricity per year (equivalent to circa £500,000) can apply to enter the scheme and a league table of their energy efficiency is published.

ID HVAC is able to provide a fully managed R22 solution to the R22 gas replacement requirement which is likely to affect all HVAC systems installed up to 2003
