Energy Saving Technologies

Renewable energy technology and systems are becoming increasingly common in new and refurbished buildings and are one of the key ways that can help organisations to become 'Carbon Neutral'.

The term renewable means that an organisation does not need to source the energy to power its building from an outsourced supply. At ID HVAC we have experience of installing and maintaining renewable systems that assist, replace and also feed a buildings HVAC system.

The renewable technologies that ID HVAC offers include Ground Source Heat Pumps, which use buried pipes to extract heat from the ground for hot water and heating systems and Air Source Heat Pumps, absorbing heat from the outside air to warm radiators and hot water.

The benefits of renewable technologies include:

• - Lowers your carbon emissions and footprint, depending on which fuel you   are replacing;
• - No need for direct fuel deliveries;
• - Heats and provides hot water; and
• - Require little maintenance - they are called ‘fit and forget’ technology
